I know right? She loves MSU, yet puts the brakes on me as far as decorating the tree with msu or the amount of msu flags at the cottage. It’s a real flaw she has imo

I've discovered Kirkland Irish cream alcoholic beverage... or whatever the fuck they call it. Essentially Carolans. Over crushed ice. Easy to get messy.

Tip question...
We recently moved out to the boonies and a lot of the service type businesses run out of their homes. Our vet runs her operation out of her farm. Our dog groomers is the same. I bought a glass shower door and window pane from some dudes house. Dropped some vehicles off at dude's house for some detailing. tWife is going to get her hair cut out of someone's house today.
When living in the burbs, if we go to a dog groomer in a strip mall, I'm paying the business their grooming cost and overhead, but tipping actual person that did the grooming. Same with a haircut. Â
What about a person running a business out of their house? Everything is cash. Do you still tip the same? We tipped the dog groomer and twife was asking about the haircut lady. I told her she should. But seems odd.

Depends, and then there is the social side, will your neighbors start shunning you if you don't tip and word gets around.
Sort of surprised they accepted the tip, but here is a rule I would follow.
If it's the owner of the business, then no tip. If it is an employee, then tip.

That is where my head is at. He/she are doing the work and can set the price they want. On the other hand it is cheaper, so I've just been tipping up to what we were paying before for the dog groomer lady and twife's haircut lady.
I didn't tip the detailing guy. He wasn't cheap and it seemed to be baked in the price.

It’s pretty easy to ignore clickbait articles and ads, but I find it difficult to resist the ones labeled Coolest new tech of the Year or Gadgets of the Year. One of these times, it’s going to get me.

Re: Random Ramblings
Opening Day for Deer season using guns and this is the first time in 25 years I didn’t wake up to gunfire.
Then I thought about what’s been developed in the last 5 years. A guy with too much money got the township board to approve a private air strip that’s taken out about 100 acres of woodland. A mile north Eastbrook Builders have built a 100+ unit development, a gravel company got permission to expand operations to dig two more pits and some very rich guy bought 200 acres of woods to build a horse farm that’s already gone belly up.
Don’t know where the herd(s) have gone but they’ve vacated.

Re: Random Ramblings
My kids like watching these videos for some reason. I can’t explain why. They are truly awful to me and the sounds they make are like nails on a chalkboard. But sometimes dad just needs you to be quiet for a bit so he can watch the lions.
Here’s the thing though. Those are McDonald’s sauces. The packaging is McDonald’s. The fries might be McDonald’s but I could see it if I were told they aren’t. You know what though, as a teenage McDonald’s employee veteran- that Big Mac is not a Big Mac. Those look like veggie patties to me. And the nuggets absolutely are NOT McDonald’s nugs. What kind of game is Jerry playing at
