Another surprising reason Joe Biden should now step aside - Though Vice President Harris’ approval ratings are still poor, she is arguably more capable now than President Biden
their guy, a convicted rapist, just released an ad - during his criminal trial for paying hush money to a porn star - using Nazi rhetoric... but, yeah.. let's hear more from the NYC media elite about how incapable President Biden is.

Well I'm not, so there is that, but it's not what I'm saying. He has some board behaviors I find annoying, and I have told him what they are, however being annoyed at someone's behaviors is much different that being mad at the person.
What I am saying is that people posting on this board have already decided how they are voting before they start posting here.

It's funny that you think anyone here was willing to change their vote based on tSwill conversations. I have no idea who you are talking about though as there are at least three people here that will not vote Biden.

I know people like Cameron. They’ll all eventually vote for Biden. You know what the difference is? Let them vent their frustrations with Biden, because they are real and legitimate. Biden is not your perfect catholic hero no matter how bad you want to act like a maga. Going off the deep end at the slightest indication of a liberal that doesn’t like Biden is not the play.

I don't think Biden is perfect but he's definitely not the evil old man the right and the far left are joining hands to paint him as. And Cameron is definitely a psycho. Not sure what a historic low would be, however at one time the US didn't have an oil reserve so pretty sure it wasn't depleted to zero.
As a Libertarian what is your position on the US maintaining an oil reserve to control market prices?

Good, if they have 60 days worth, that means they can probably release just enough to easily hold prices stable for 6-8 months more since you don't need a full day of barrels to influence pricing significantly

That is a libertarian moral quandarie if I've ever seen one. Release stockpile to influence market or allow middle eastern countries a huge influence on our elections. In this case I would think the national security concerns trump the market influence

One recent poll from Monmouth University showed support for Kennedy among Republicans grew slightly once they learned of his views on vaccines and Covid. It’s just one datapoint, though it explains the urgency of Trump’s recent attacks on Kennedy.

As a Libertarian, I’d say if the purpose of the oil reserve was to control market prices, then it’s a failure and should be abolished.
However, I believe the primary purpose of the reserve is for our military and emergency response crews to have access to oil should the need arise. For that purpose, it makes sense.

Wait, I thought I saw US is the highest producer of oil under Biden now. Seems like that would guard against opec fucking around.
That said, allowing oil producing monarchies and russian oligarchs to influence the election by on a whim seems like a good use of the reserves (for military and emergency response purposes).

As a Libertarian, I’d say if the purpose of the oil reserve was to control market prices, then it’s a failure and should be abolished.
However, I believe the primary purpose of the reserve is for our military and emergency response crews to have access to oil should the need arise. For that purpose, it makes sense.
Looks like it's purpose is not for self defense but instead for controlling oil prices, and always has been.
