The Rose Parade is the star,

All the Rose Festival wants is a game to be played after their parade. The real money is in the parade. The football game keeps the tourists in hotels an extra day or two after the parade.

The Rose Parade brings in millions of dollars just the 3 days before and 2 days after the parade. The game has always been a hook to bring in tourists over New Years.

No. MSU type expectations. But they balked today.

Some not so great stuff from Norvell and *news flash* DJU is still not a legit throwing threat. Gtech had a good gameplan, focus on the run and RBs out of the backfield. They dared him to throw mud/deep and he was really only able to take advantage on the last drive.

Pretty shocked at how GTech was able to dominate on both sides of the line, especially the OL. FSU D got worked.

New Mexico blew a big 4Q lead. They dominated and had a 2-score lead all game. Gave up a junky long TD run and the wheels feel off. Tough lose as they are not expected to win many games this year.

As a newly minted Canes fan (far, far, far secondary to MSU), watching this game.  

Miami's Pac2 transfers, QB Ward from Wazoo and RB Martinez from Jonathan Smith's OSU look like such great pickups.  I think Chiles was the #2 transfer portal QB behind Ward.  The big difference being experience, so no shame in that.

Simeon Barrow starting NT for the U, as well.

There is another WR as well, which is who Kyle 'competed' against at the BBall game, but I don't think he's a starter.

LSU had a TO. If you don't pick up the first, you don't want to give the ball back to LSU that much time on the clock. But you still want to give yourself a chance for pts (which they did). It was a tricky situation.

After Brian Kelly shit on a friend's son by telling him he wouldn't be taking the trip to the D2 Semi Championship game after playing in 12 games as a 2 deep WR and kick return 15 minutes before the team bus left I have taken great joy in watching Brian Kelly's teams lose.

It was a great to watch Kelly grimace as his team lost for the 3rd consecutive season opener at L$U. He bolted ND for 10 years/$95M deal.
