Isn't Magic a billionaire? Ishbia needs to step up.DWags wrote:Watching on split screens at a bar last night. I think msu has about 1/3rd of the type of starters that Alabama Georgia and OSU have.
I like our staff and, for the most part, get our kids in positions on the field to make plays. Last year we were lost so I assumed it was film work during the week.
I like this staff. I hope we can somehow get the Jimmy and joes for them. How do you out spend those three schools?

That's sometimes a cliche, but this year is as good of a way to put it as anything. Our guys are in position to make plays. Sometimes you get out-talented. Sometimes you drop and INT in the end zone, sometimes you throw an INT or fumble. Sometimes there's a blown call. But we were absolutely in positions to make plays to be within just a few points at half time. That's a long fucking way we've come from the last couple of seasons.DWags wrote:Watching on split screens at a bar last night. I like what I see schematically. I don’t think we’ve had an offense that schemes stuff like this one. Even under Dantonio it was either bully ball or talent. This shit is different. Kids are in position to make plays and play hard offensively and defensively. We have average talent at every position, except WR and QB.
Yesterday the guys were prepared and played hard. We had chances in the first half. They made OSU drive the field on short passes, stopped the run, didn’t let them go over the top and forced 3rd and 4th downs. They forced underneath throws and Howard went nearly perfect. Dude has never hit 13 in a row in his life. We made it to the red zone the first four drives, then stepped on our dicks. That is the difference between a team with talent and us right now.
Overall I love the direction of the program.

USC/Minny. Minny is not great but USC getting a taste of back-to-back-to back BIG games.
Wash/Mich. This one is obv.
Boise/UtSt. This RB is legit. 5-9. Reminds me on Emmitt Smith (I hated Emmitt for obv reasons).
Clem/FSU. Klubnik tuning into a nice looking QB.
UT/ArrrKansas. Hogs holding their own trough 2 quarters
God I live college football.

Oh, those goal posts didn't know the night they were in for. They took the goalpost out of the stadium, marched it THREE MILES to downtown Nashville. And then threw it in the river. THAT is how you celebrate!Nordic wrote:Epic scene in Vandy.
