I wish him well. He’s right where he needs to be.
I don’t think any transfer recently deserves to be run down. All those kids knew the ship was sinking. I can’t think of any of them being an ass. All seemed like nice kids.
Not just a sinking ship; CFB is an entirely different beast than what we grew up with, and a player’s view of their chosen school is much different than it ever was. It’s a stop but not necessarily a destination.

That other one was targeting, too. Should’ve been a third Dawg DQd.

Didn't the second string guy come in and help put up 28 more on Nebraska on Saturday?

That game opened my eyes. I never thought Nebraska was this great team, but beating them in that manner using two QB's
The kid who came in passed less, but had a better QBR and threw 2 TD's. He also added another element of running. 2 for 21 yards. This team is crazy..

Yes, and overall they are playing well all levels. They sucked the life outta Nebby in the first half before he went out. Nebby ain't built for shootouts/comebacks.
I don't think they resort to their mean without him, but he's really damn good. One thing I've been telling myself all year is at least we play IU later in the year, not when they are healthy/hot. I'd rather play IU at home vs. not-Rourke in November than vs. Rourke earlier in the year. They have UDub next week and that will give MSU a chance to see how they adjust without him.

And the 'cuse coach keeps dropping McCord back to pass. He's gonna give him Andrew Maxwell syndrome.

McCord has a 21.1 QBR going and their coach has him throwing 64 times?
Do they have a back up? 9 different receivers caught passes. None more than 3. They obviously don’t have a guy they go to.
WTF? Was it just that they got behind then had to play catch up? 64 passes with 5 int’s? That coach just ended that kids career. Another transfer or is he out of options? Last pass I saw him throw was to a Michigan DB.

The coach was an idiot. He assumed his QB could throw his way out of it instead of trying to slow shit down and run. It was pretty clear early that wasn’t going to work. Pitt’s D was dialed up for their passing game. OL was getting murdered by the pass rush and their receivers were not open (they do have an elite TE).
To be fair, their run game wasn’t exactly setting the world on fire. But Pitt’s O wasn’t moving the ball well either. Sometimes you gotta play Dantonio ball and play field position and settle in. But some coaches are just not very smart and want to play ‘modern’ football at all costs. It was one of the worst coaching displays I’ve seen in a while. Zero awareness or adjustment. McCord has had a good year. I’m curious to see what this does to his confidence. Dude left him in till the final seconds.

Anyone watching Oklahoma at Ole Miss? I just dialed in to see if David Stone is seeing action. He’s the okie native who was close to committing to MSU, or at least pretended like he was. I saw EL’s Andrel Anthony is also on this bad Sooner team, but IDK if he sees action, either.

Penn St fans are pissed at Fox Sports for selecting the OSU at PSU game as their Big Noon Saturday broadcast. They’re calling for a boycott of the Fox Sports live pregame show on campus. Seems fans are upset because this game is the one game of the year that is the White Out, and they wanted a night game because it shows up better in person and on screen. Fox Sports had the right to call the kickoff, and placed the game at Noon. Since ESPN Game Day will also be on campus, PSU fans are urging everyone to head to that live show, instead.

Late in the 4th and Georgia Tech is up 12 on Miami. The Canes are moving the ball and GT players are starting to drop with injuries. Could be an interesting finish.

GT wins.
Miami had been living on borrowed time for weeks. Undisciplined on D, a lot of hero ball, etc., and their O wasn't in sync enough to bail them out. Good D game plan by GT and ran the ball down their throat all game.

Sooo
Miami could miss the playoffs with 1 more loss.
12 team playoff is great. Will be even better when grows to 16.

Moore keeps showing he’s not HC material. Anyone including casual fans knew there was a need for a starting QB yet Moore sat on his hands rather than going to the transfer portal after he was named in late January 2024.
Now umaa that had a highly rated ‘24 class for this season and has the 11th rated class nationally for ‘25 (so far))
Without advance scouting umaa isn’t that tough.

I don’t like ND at all, but I imagine them making the playoffs twists that knife a little deeper into Kelly also.
