I am so irritated right now. I have this damn 6 AM flight scheduled. DTW is 45 minutes on an average day from here. So let's just say it's a normal day. That means I probably need to leave at 4:15 minimum. But yeah, there's going to be 6+" of snow/ice on the ground by that time if I'm believing what I'm told.

The flight is, of course, not canceled yet. It won't be canceled because it's the first flight out in the AM. It will probably be delayed. So I will show up, they will post it as on time, then tell us it's delayed due to inclement weather. Then they will repost a time an hour or two later which will *barely* allow me to make my meeting. And then...%&#E&@#*()&*()@#&~$

How can they not be ready to go after eight hours of relative inactivity on the runways and not really that much snowfall? Only way I can see that early morning flight being canceled is if the destination won't be ready for arriving flights.

Yeah and as far as I could tell there was no inbound from Flight Aware. It was an American Eagle flyer so I'm guessing they just have those little fuckers stored at the airport in various nooks and crannies.

I bought a dash cam to fuck around with, and the goddamn SD card got stuck inside of it. Not in the slot for the card, but the opening was too large so it's jammed inside. I have to go out and get an eyeglass repair kit to fix this. Awesome.
