I like blackberries. I like beer. Seemed like it might work.

Meh. I occasionally cross that line and drink a beer that has hints of (insert some flavor here)... Sometimes it's a nice change of pace.
(and some of my faves fruity kind (Soft Parade, M-43) have twice the alcohol domestics macro-brews do... which is a nice benefit.)
That said, I wont turn down a pop if offered. (Bud, Miller, whatever...)
except Coors I guess, cause that shit rots your guts.

Learning of this merger with DFH and Boston Brewing just crapped all over my day. It’s like when the DFP and DN created a JOA. Nothing is ever the same and everybody loses.

Let me clarify -
bad - if there's a fruit syrup or artificial fruit flavoring that is included in your packaged beer.
good - you have a beer and you put a twist of fresh citrus fruit in the beer it can be incredible.

Then you’ve done something queer to the beer. And you’ve committed a crime against the lime.

Tried the new Stroh's a while back. Blew my mind it was $9 a six, especially since it tasted nothing like the old stuff. Shoprite sold cases of Stroh's 16 ounce longnecks for $5 my freshman year.

Sure, but when you were a freshman, you could fill your gas tank for $2.

Funny you posted that. Was reminiscing with a friend my age a few weeks ago. When we were kids there were gas wars. There was a gas station near the GM Tech Center that offered it for 15 cents a gallon.tGreenWay wrote:The Pantry wrote:Tried the new Stroh's a while back. Was just going to post this... Margarita-ish. 10%... Only problem, could probably only handle 2 with the sweetness. Probably the alcohol too.
But the first is good.

Stopped at my beer store on Friday in honor of International Beer Day. Went in the walk-in cooler. They had 2 half barrels sitting on the floor. One was Guinness and the other was PBR. Thought of Bob. Haven't had PBR in ages.

I generally steer clear of craft beer.. 'cause, I'm a man who wear jeans, boots and t-shirts and I prefer my beer to taste like beer..
anyhoo.. who knows what the actual truth is, this doesn't sound too good for Founder's Brewing.

Evans, a former manager who worked at Founders' Detroit and Grand Rapids locations, alleged “a racist internal corporate culture.”
Some white coworkers exhibited multiple examples of “blatant” racism. Among other issues, they repeatedly used the “N word” around him, and management allegedly named a printer it used the “white guy printer” while labeling the printer for lower-tier employees the “black guy printer.”
