I think I may have mentioned this in another thread, but I'm convinced that the only reason Lindsey did a U turn on his very firm promise from 2 and 4 years ago, is because McConnell threatened to pull this funding. He feels that will help his campaign more than the blatant hypocrisy hurts it.

Lindsey was on FoxNews at least 3 days last week, literally begging people to send money to his campaign.

The Lincoln Project feels bad for Lindsey and are trying to help. For just pennies a day, we can help to save Lindsey.

I saw that ad over the weekend. It was pretty cringe-worthy for Lindsey.

I have some friends 'in the know' that say the black guy that likes helicopters is actually doing quite well in Michigan. Don't count out his DeVos-funded campaign.

It could just be that her campaign has the money, where others don't, so the parties need to give more help to other candidates than to her. Or it's possible that the RNC doesn't think that race is as much of a priority, whether because they don't think they can win there, or if she hasn't properly pledged her undying loyalty to Trump. I'm not sure what the polls show, but I did see something that she didn't go to the Latinos for Trump event a couple of days ago when Trump was in town. She said she had "other obligations". The President and leader of her party is in town and she has more important places to be? Not that she's anti-Trump, but perhaps she's trying not to be tied to him to much (I can't recall if her ads mention Trump at all or not, but it seems to be more about attacking Shalala). I don't know if that's the reason, but that could potentially keep the RNC from dumping money into her race.

If John James was such a sure bet, the Amway Corporation wouldn't have hired John James wife as a VP of something in January 2019. John James is allegedly a hands on owner running the company his father started as a minority supplier to the Detroit 3, Nissan and Toyota.

Here is a stat that bothers me:

Among those that have already voted, Peters leads 71.8%-18.3%.
Among those still holding their absentee ballot, Peters leads 63.3%-26.1%.
Among those voting on Election Day, James leads 54.0%-28.0%.



when Trump challenges all mail in votes, many of his minions will also. We coudl be in for a free for all from Novermber through March. Then when the Supreme court decides that the minority has won the election, We'll have to take it in the ass.

Trump openly supports how mail in ballots are done in Michigan, though.

That doesn't mean he won't claim fraud on those, but it will have to show real proof. Faked fraud is a bigger threat than real fraud.

No kidding. It’s long been popular to predict an election outcome based on yard signs, but AFAIC, it’s silly. I usually don’t even take note of signs. However, there is something noticeably different this year. There are Biden/Harris signs showing up in yards whose owners have never before taken time to display anything political. Seems even the usually-apolitical even have an opinion on the president.
