Detroit PD Chief James Craig expected to announce his retirement Monday in order to run in the Republican primary to decide who goes up against Gov. Whitmer.

Wonder how much it cost the GOP to get James Craig to resign or just appealed to his ego with promises of financial support.

Wonder if others wanting to be the GOP’s choice for Governor will play nice and back down.

If Chief James made an error it’s the timing of his announcement,  17 months prior to election and 12 months before the primaries giving his opponents in the primary and Governor Whitmer’s campaign  a load time to dig.  

Until now Chief Craig has been able to stay under the  radar much of the time.

I must say, though, I'm kind of disappointed she did it. I probably would have too if I was in her shoes, but she's supposed to holding a higher standard not setting a double-standard. Doesn't mean I won't vote for her again.

So she went to the landshark (who the hell goes to the landshark I mean 2007 alum here saying that maybe the kids like it there now? But she’s not a kid she’s closer to my age) and got pictured with no masks and 3 tables pushed together and around 20 total people at them, which is against her own restrictions that still apply to bars and restaurants.
