What’s the deal with balding women. Seems like I’m seeing it much more these days. It doesn’t help when some of these women with hairlines that seemingly start halfway across the top of the head are pulling their hair back in pony tails. That just shows off all the extra real estate up there.

Our furnace is broken. It’s 63 in here now, and someone will be here between 10-2 tomorrow. I have a home warranty that will cover a new one if needed. I am so hoping to get a new one. Might as well. I got a brand new AC unit last year just paying my $75 deductible. Will I get lucky?

I'm annoyed I'm staying at my in-laws. I was just going to bundle the kid up more, and figured it would be fine. Of course guilt trips my husband, which then makes us have to board our dog (MIL doesnt allow animals), and stuck watching their shows. Happy 1st day of vacation for me!
Damn it all. My furnace better be broke as fuck, and not some simple solution .

Re: Random Ramblings
Y’all see Paula Lavigne’s latest? Pretty typical her. At first it makes sense and should raise alarm bells. Then when you dig in on a few of the stadiums on the list it’s like “wait, this is what you’re complaining about?” Things like an lca employee having a cup of beer in a sink for handwashing (nothing about the cup of beer being served) and at ford field customers were handling condiments without tongs (I’m guessing we’re talking fresh onions by the ketchup. Sorry that nfl fans are slobs I guess.)
Anyway, just typical Lavigne looking for a story, not finding it, then running with it anyway.

Re: Random Ramblings
In over 40 years of driving had never locked my keys in the vehicle...until today. Some guys in the shop wanted to take a crack at it before I called road service. Three of them, including the plant manager, quickly fashioned slim jims out of steel banding and took turns trying to pop the lock. All failed, as I thought they would, because door lock mechanisms have been designed to prevent jimmys for many years.
The road service lock guy had the door open in less than 3 minutes using the little air bag and a more sophisticated version of the last poker pole I saw.

Nothing so far. Part of the road service on my auto policy. That said, they'll probably jack my premium when the renewal comes up next year.Dendrobates wrote:The Pantry wrote:In over 40 years of driving had never locked my keys in the vehicle...until today. That’s going to require more time at the MIL’s place.

Re: Random Ramblings
Well shit, I certainly didnt get lucky guys.
The technician said they would be there from 10-2. Got there at 3. He was there for an hour and a half. We need a new control board. He says he cant do it until Monday because of waiting on our warranty approval, and the 1 store that has our part is closed for the weekend. I think he just didnt want to do it over the weekend. My home warranty company gets stuff approved fast. Really screws you over when you have a 1 year old . I dont want to do back and forth shit to the in-laws with the dog. As animals aren't allowed at the in-laws. Decided to drive 2 hours west to stay at my moms since the dog can stay there. Yippee..

Well the good part is that it isn't so cold you need to worry about freezing pipes.

What type of psycho doesn’t allow pets? Does your MIL have allergies, or is she just allergic to warmth and love and fun?

I think pickup trucks have obnoxiously bright lights and they should be more considerate of the other drivers on the road.

The bright lights are to compensate for small dicks.

Proof of theory. Wags has a big enough trouser armadillo that he doesn't need lights, much less bright lights.

Right. We are lucky there. It just sucks the kid is so young, that we're forced to leave for the night.
tGreenWay wrote:What type of psycho doesn’t allow pets? Does your MIL have allergies, or is she just allergic to warmth and love and fun?
I do love my in-laws/MIL. But she is psycho that she hates animals. It has something to do with her irrational cleanliness/borderline OCD. She thinks of all animals as dirty and disgusting. Her obsessive and irrational cleaning habits is mostly what makes it so miserable being around for an extended period of time (pure hell when we lived there for a year and half, I had to give up my snake). Although when my husband was a kid, he brought in different animals and reluctantly allowed it. She sure as hell never did a single thing to care for them. Hubby legit took care 100% of every animal he ever had (dog, bird, snake, etc).
