Re: Random Ramblings
How big is high school football in Texas ? My company opened a new office in Liberty Hill which is traveling to Dallas right now for the state finals. They have a police escort for the 3 hour drive. Rumor is they are closing I35 for the escort and if you know that highway from Dallas to San Antonio it is a nightmare.

Teaching her to be a little whiner and that dressing up for a movie is ok. Pussification of movie theaters

Careful. You’re going to piss off the Rocky Horror crowd.

Out of the blue, I’ve decided I want a cuckoo clock. Not some cheap knockoff we’d expect to see in I.B.’s home, I’m talking the real deal; handmade, German, annoying little bird that pops out to chirp a couple of times an hour.
If this urge does nothing else, it confirms I need intense and immediate therapy.

My dad went to Germany on business a few times. Was weird because he visited a couple places he bombed in WW2.tGreenWay wrote:Out of the blue, I’ve decided I want a cuckoo clock. He came back with an authentic cuckoo clock one trip. It was cute for a couple days then I grew to hate the thing because it was put on a wall just outside my bedroom and would wake me up at night.
Don't do it

Greenie...I have one. Real deal. Cost me like $600 about 18 years ago. It's currently sitting in my garage in a grocery bag. I kinda want to keep it even though I'll probably never use it again but I might consider selling it to a fellow Spartan.

When folks pass I’m not one for picking over their collectibles. ( unless it’s you guys and your hats). I stand back and don’t give a shit. But I took my dads hall of fame football coaches ring and my wife knows I fancy this cool grandfather clock of my FIL. Don’t know where it would go in my average modest hose but it’s real old and real cool and I don’t care if it’s worth ten bucks or ten thousand it was in the only room not damaged by the fire.

I think they’re cool, but they don’t fit today’s decor. But a neat thing to have.

For the first time, I went to the grocery store in sweats. It was great. We had a Christmas yesterday, 1 tomorrow, 2 on Christmas, and 1 on the 29th. It was a prefect day for it.
What made it even better was that I wasn’t wearing any underwear or a bra. Felt great.

Just a few random questions:
Where do you shop?
What day do you shop?
What time of day do you shop?
Asking for friend. Okay, friends. Okay, all of tSwillers.

You’re right, they really don’t. I was hoping it was the wine driving my interest, but if it doesn’t wane soon, maybe it can go in my office.
TBH, I’m hoping to get liquored up shortly and then I know I’ll mention it to Mrs. GreenWay. My guess is, it will be met with a look that every spouse knows: AYFKM?

See I don’t get why women wear yoga pants everywhere. They are comfy for working out. All day wear? Nah, not for me. I don’t want shit clinging to me all day long. That is not comfy. Baggy clothes, that is comfy.

Re: Random Ramblings
So we tried out Rochester Play for the first time. I didn’t know there were these indoor playground type businesses around. This one was a little out of our way, but I heard good things.
Hubby is helping our kid get comfortable and play, while he is chatting with another dad. He was bragging about his 14 month old, and he mentioned his kid knows sign language. She made the sign that she was thirsty. Hubby tells the guy that our 17 month old tells us she’s thirsty too by panting like a dog. She learned it from our dog. True story, we think it’s awesome.
Take that hipster dad.

Rochester Play is solid. It's farther from home but check out Fort Clarkston . They have some added amenities.

That looks impressive! But I certainly don’t want to set the bar that high
First place we tried was jungle java. Rochester play made that look like a joke. But I’m a fan of the Rochester play. I’ve heard about one in Troy, and another one in Rochester that we plan on trying this winter.
