Last Thursday there was a dead skunk in the road in our subdivision, a couple hundred feet in from the main road. It laid there for 2-3 days. When I took my walk yesterday I noticed it was gone, but upon looking to my left I saw someone had thrown it in the grass in the vacant lot on the of the street. Like, really? You're going to pick up a 2-3 day old skanky dead skunk carcass and toss it a dozen feet? If you're going to touch the skanky dead skunk why not bag it and put it in the trash?

Up since 315.
Fucking kid was hollering for dad (yea right, he sleeps like a rock). I was sleeping pretty good. I go in, and she's hollering because her stuffed animal fell on the floor.

Vacationed in Rhode Island one year... close to the ocean. The skunks were like squirrels there were so many. Had to watch yourself going from front door to car in the driveway. Irritating.

Hit a deer this morning. Bambi. Just a tiny little fawn. Didn’t even do damage to my truck. Poor little guy never had a chance. Felt bad. As many as a see every morning I knew it was inevitable.

Even if it doesn't, seems easier to manage than another wang. And I never want my wang to touch another wang, even if that other wang is mine too.

If you knew it was inevitable, why weren’t you a more careful driver? Better yet, find an alternative route.

90% of my accounts are on US-23. Taking a different route would literally put more Bambi’s in danger. I have zero points on my record.
The only time I’m not driving carefully is when I get that booty call text from Mrs Greenway

Another first date that leads nowhere. It didn’t necessarily go nowhere. And she told me afterward that she wanted a second date. She looked up at me like she wanted a kiss and I gave her a hug. I just deleted contact with her because I interpreted something negatively.

K so I was 9 yrs old when Tyson took Holyfields ear but I've been watching some of his old fights from before I was born and when I was a little fella... holy hell. I honestly think if Mike was in the UFC these days he would have killed people, boxing gloves saved many lives.

My insomnia has gotten significantly worse since the original stay home order in March. I’m routinely going to bed at 4:30 am - 5 am and sometimes later now. I remember the good old days when I was bummed because I couldn’t fall asleep until 2 am.

Every day should be Saturday. What steps do we need to make that happen? Start with taxing the mega rich and redistributing the wealth so we can screw off seven days a week?

I've had a push-to-start car for probably 2 years, wife a little longer, and I'm still not used to it. Not the starting part. I'm not a moran. Starting is great. Push button. Go.
It is the exiting I struggle with. I leave the key in the car. I leave the car running. I don't put it park. I don't put it in park and leave it running, but grab the key fob and make damn sure I put the key in my pocket before exiting.
I can't get it right. With a key ignition there is a sequence of events ingrianed in my brain. Shift to park (or shift to first and pull the parking brake). Turn key off. Remove key. Exit. Put key in pocket. No other sequence will work.
I love the push-to-start, but I've hit the point where new tech is starting to confuse me.

Wife has left her fucking car running. We throw keys in a drawer by the door. 20 feet from the Driveway. I think she’s either figured it out and corrected it or it shuts off. I don’t know.
When you said push start a car I remember starting old clutch cars with my friends pushing them and me pooping the clutch.

My first car. Used '89 Sunbird I inherited from my half brother in '93. The fuel pump went, and that's how I had to start it for a good half of a year. I finally went to a junkyard and got a fuel pump out of an old sunbird and installed it myself. I can't believe I did shit like that back then. I was also pretty good at installing car stereos. Amps. Face plates. Kickers. Speakers.

Cars lasted for shit in 80s. Stereos were the upgrade back in the day. I remember installing a Kenwood tape deck in my '84 Camaro and 100w Kenwood rear speakers. Yes, I had a mullet. All Summer Long woulda sounded kick ass on that stereo.

For a solid summer we hung out at Dixieland befriending the guy who owned the mobile audio store. Bought so much shit from that guy. I remember my Dad went to DC on business and visited one of the mints. Brought me home a printed sheet of $2 bills, suitable for framing. What did I do with it? Cut it up, obv, and spent it on an amp at Dixieland.

I went shopping online for some water shoes. Kind of an emergency need. I couldn't find any in stock at a brick and mortar place where I could pick them up. It's July, so naturally I'd have better luck buying a winter coat.
Even Amazon Prime says they can't get them to me for a week.
