Requested a new license plate tab online on the 6th. Still not here. Got tabs online for years. Usually show up in the mail in less than a week. Covid related? How much of our state government is actually back to work?

Pretty sure it’s COVID related. My MIL renewed hers for the end of April and didn’t get them until July. They said it was COVID and that part of the EO was a grace period for renewals.

Youtube. I’m sure shit like this gets by most sheeple but they have more commercials now that they stream before ideos and more surveys that I have to opt out of before I watch a video. . I’m not going to lie it irritates me a lot.

For tv there’s  multiple networks and even a PBS. How come we can’t have the same for video streaming services?  Let’s also be real YouTube built their company up off of copyright violations. They were Napster 2.0 but for some reason no one cared as much when YouTube did it.

I'm pretty sure there are multiple streaming services. Like dozens and dozens of them.

Why do billions of people just flock to one making it a titan? There’s Vimeo and Dailymotion. Cat videos don’t have to go up on just YouTube.

Tik tok? Also Facebook and instagram to a lesser extent (in terms of video). People go where the most users are. And that's why TV networks aren't a good comparison because they control the content to attract viewers.

bought google play music years ago as my streaming music platform. It's now youtube music I believe, dont pay much attention to that, but it comes bundled with youtube premium so I haven't seen a youtbe ad in probably 5 years

Google Play music is now Youtube Music Premium for the same 9.99 - but Youtube Premium isnt included with youtube music premium

Now you'll have to pay 11.99 for Youtube Premium...which will include Youtube Music Premium




I am a big fan of the premium though - in addition to ad free, you can have youtube keep playing in the background/with screen off

It's been a weird week.
One of our neighbors died (wife of a retired couple in their 80s). The husband found his wife floating in their pool. I don't know anything else. Police came to our house, and had dogs sniffing around. I think just to rule things out.

Then one of my husband's cousins (he married into the family), was found dead by his wife. No one could get a hold of him, and he didn't meet his wife and son at the park. Thankfully, their 5 year old son wasn't with her when she found him. He was one of our groomsmen in our wedding. Just a sad sad situation. Their son's birthday party is tomorrow, which they decided to continue with. I hope it's a nice distraction for everyone. We will be there. Just feel terrible for them.

So yea...an odd messed up week.

I had a sleep study conducted a few days ago. At best I have nothing to really worry about. At worse I’m having nocturnal seizures.

I’m a bit scared of what the results will come back with, to be honest.

Never do drugs, I screwed up my head awhile back abusing amphetamines among other things. As my old professor who I became close to said to me shaking his head and sighing, “some people are their own worst enemies...”. Your parents can only protect you from yourself for so long, and I was never one to shy away from danger. I once had a psychiatrist say, “Bill is easily my most confusing patient.  He’s good looking, well groomed, nice, well spoken, and talking to him you can tell you’re talking to a smart and well educated man. He’s also in perfect physical health and yet he lives the life of a recluse”. I am no longer a recluse but I found through therapy that most of this was self induced as well as many of my other issues. It’s puzzling to many to be born with such good footing yet hate yourself and self deprecate all the time.

I love all of you no matter what my results say.

My parents still take care of shit for me and I live with my parents. So I’ve decided that I’m going to move out and start living above my means instead of saving everything.
