LL Bean catalog arrived the other day. This morning I'm flipping through it and the puffer jacket catches my eye....what a stunning jacket and they have to ruin it by putting the LL Bean logo where the left breast pocket would be. Why can't a company be secure enough to make a quality, good looking jacket without the friggin branding? A lot of consumers just want a clean simple look.

Stunning probably not but they’ve upped their game with the puffer jacket but the logo irks me. A few pairs of slippers caught my eye but I think I’m going to hold off on slippers until I’m in my fifties. Still a tube socks around the house guy.

Absolutely amazing weather in SE MI the past 4-5 days and through tomorrow at least. The only thing better would be NOT GETTING FUCKING DARK AT 5:30.

Probably biked about 60 miles between yesterday and today in shorts and t-shirts. Never been able to do that in November.

Our neighborhood now has deer living in it. I see them a couple times a week while I’m walking the dog at night. Friends see them in the morning. I was ten yards from an 8-point buck last weekend. He just slightly hurried along, but still kind of casual. I love it.

Edit: I should add that we’ve had deer occasionally over the years, but usually terrified and trying to find a way out. This new group is totally chill and hanging out on the regular.
