Word of advice, if you’re offered a job and then months later show up again and try to see if the job offer is still on the table, the employer is going to be apprehensive and you’re going to have to really sell yourself to get the job offer again

The other day , we got fast food. My 3 year old asked out loud to the worker with the man bun was a guy or girl.
I’m pretty sure he didn’t hear. But it was really hard not to laugh out loud to that.

Never go man bun without a beard. Same thing applies with baldness. They mix together like spaghetti and meatball

Last day of leave today. I would be more excited going back to work if I could actually go somewhere. Working full time from home is not ideal for me. 2 days a week is my sweet spot.

I will be very happy when Biden assumes office on the 20th.
Not for the obvious reasons - but I live a few miles away from his house. The random road closures have been beyond my comprehension. I understand there can be no advanced notice, but this ain't Michigan and the roads are not in any sort of grid pattern. Rerouting around an intersection can add a half hour to a 10 minute trip. I avoid going in that direction if at all possible.

That's pretty neat, not the adding of time to your drive - but living close to him. You rich, bro?

Not that rich - I don't live in his development. (Though "a friend of a friend" does and says that is a kind of a nightmare.)Other Teams Pursuing That wrote:MSU addict wrote:I will be very happy when Biden assumes office on the 20th.

Where he lives is absolutely beautiful, but not that far from some not so nice areas of Wilmington. I live in the other direction, near the intersection where his first wife and daughter lost their lives in a traffic accident. When I drive by that intersection I think about them. I cannot imagine how he must feel if he drives by it and I wonder if he avoids doing so at all cost.

It is a very popular trend. We know probably 10 people that are way into it. I found out that San Francisco is ideal for sourdough because of the consistent temperature around 75 degrees.

No shit. But the only reason an American would use Celsius in casual conversation is to be a douche canoe.

I agree that we should change to metric. But unless and until we do, using Celsius instead of Farenheit in casual conversation strikes me as some sort of faux-European feigned sophistication. Especially coming from steve.Rocinante wrote:I think we should restart the ccc and hire people to change out whole country over to metric. Team steve

Was driving into town the other day, it's cloudy with the sun just barely visible behind the clouds. My wife has a brain fart and says "where does the sun go when it's cloudy like this?" I may have misinterpreted but I answer "You're new to this planet aren't you?" Got a nice smile from her.
