In creepy tech news: I bought a product this last week at the grocery store that I’ve never seen an ad for before online. Starting yesterday I’ve been getting ads for it regularly. Thought it was funny, so started scrolling through all the ads I could find on various sites. There it was, in addition to ads for other products I’ve been buying irl. We are so fucked.

Oh additionally, I go into all the software I use and select do not send me targeted advertising. So it’s coming from elsewhere. Can’t possibly track this shit as an individual. Need a supercomputer. US needs a right to be forgotten law.

I’m all good without you sleuthing out the culprit Steve. Thanks. There are literally dozens of ways for the information to get from my grocery store to the webs. It’s just disconcerting.
