It’s strange getting back into pre-COVID habits. Having some work done around the house, so there’s been a couple different crews inside the last two weeks. They were without masks, and I could’ve asked them to wear them, but I didn’t. Figured I have to jump back into things at some point, and I’m as protected as is possible now. Found myself in a smaller room with no airflow and none of us masked this morning, and it was weird. TBH, I really like not getting colds or the flu, and I might just go back to wearing a mask with strangers inside. Friends over will be a different matter.

My wife and I are threatening to take our daughter and some of her friends to Crunchy's on Friday with the ulterior motive to embarrass the holy hell out of her by serenading each other with a karaoke version of "Endless Love".

I have taken so many covid tests, I don't know the total. And at least 20 or so with PCR.

I have never tested positive. My husband and 1 daughter did back in Jan. But not me or my other daughter.
I have been sick pretty much every other week from whatever disease is going around daycare/preschool though.

Covid is so weird. I had to have had it right? It's just not showing up for some reason.

One of the main reasons I might continue to wear a mask in certain public places beyond the pandemic is the very idea of avoiding colds/flu. By my count, wearing a mask has kept me from catching the flu five times since spring ‘20. I approve.

And I’m with you and Bob in thinking I’ve had COVID, post-vaccination, but with no proof.

How many people do you know who have had it verses how many you know who haven't.

Right now there are less than 5 people I know who have.

They’re probably basing that on some models and assumptions and shit as people have it and don’t know it because they have no symptoms or have it and are never tested because they have very mild symptoms and even then they never realized it was covid. You probably know more than 5

I believe it. Pretty much everyone I know has had covid. Including my 6 month old granddaughter right now ( she's fine). Hell, I know 18  people who have died from covid

Got to say, pretty similar numbers too.
Thinking of family (distant and close), friends, coworkers, all but 3 people have not had covid. Only 2 people in that group that I know are not vaccinated.

I included myself as not having it. But I'm pretty sure I had to have it. I just never tested positive. My household, and other family members i was around had it at once.

Seeing these messages shows me and my family are living in a covid free bubble.

People I "know" who have had covid are friends of acquaintances. No one of my siblings, spousal siblings, cousins, nephews or nieces has had it.
