Pretty sure the majority of residents are conservatives ...

I hope they come with training so that they know you're also supposed to cover your nose.

We use KN95 masks when needed (work, school). IMO they are more comfortable and easier to breathe than the surgical or cloth masks. Especially if your wearing safety glasses.

You can get them on Amazon pretty easily.

Yeah, probably depends on where you are though tbh otpt. I went to a Home Depot in alma Michigan because I had to poop and as I walked through the store looking for the bathroom I saw no masks. On the other hand in my area many people wear masks.

I’m due for an outpatient surgery in 2 weeks. Spectrum Health is so overrun with testing people with symptoms they’re directing people like myself to a Meijer/Walgreens/RiteAid.

The rub for me is all of them are collection points for a national COVID tresting company that’s being investigated by MN and OR for falsifying results

was at Whole Foods in East Lansing the other day. I'd say about 90% of the folks in there were masked (it's not popular but masking, etc. is a function of education and income... place ain't cheap to shop at.. and, of course, education and income is a function of other things.. like zip code).

anyway.. I stop at the Meijer out in Bath (or wherever it is) periodically. Masking is much less prevalent there. I'd less than 50%.

I went to Playmakers a bit ago to pick up a new pair of running shoes (Brooks Addictions.. not exaggerating when I say that I've had 24-28 pairs of this exact shoe over the years). Vast majority of people masked.

When I go to the grocery store, typically about 8am on a weekday after taking my daughter to school, it's usually about 80%+ masked. And, of course, not very crowded at that time.

Last weekend, I needed to go on Saturday around noon just to pick up one thing. Maybe 50% masked, at best, and pretty crowded.

Gotta stick to weekdays.

Most of what we get is delivered, but when I’ve needed something specific right away, or I’m close to a store I’d like to visit for some items, I’ve only gone close to closing time. Never been in a store that was busy at closing time. One key is to checkout before a store makes its closing announcement, when those who are shopping are all sent to the same area so staff can go home.

Not surprised. Education is def a key to listening to experts and knowing the science/data, therefore; more masking up. umaa can chow my nutsack, but a2 is a pretty great town.

Not much else she can be charged with. I’m only assuming this charge is a felony in VA. Remains to be seen if she’s convicted, but if she is, not only would she have a felony on her record, but she’d have to surrender her guns.

I’m pretty sure if an Arab American showed up in a school board meeting and threatened to shoot up schools because they disagreed with a potential policy we would find a way to charge them with something else but I can’t quite place my finger on what.
