So...other than Scott, is there anyone else who I need to get to know before the season starts? Do we have any good secondary prospects, or anyone that is going to help step up and improve that area?

It's tough to say who might have an early impact. Drake Martinez is at least intriguing. I don't think he played much, but Martinez spent a year at Nebraska at safety before leaving the program.

Dantonio says that Martinez has to sit a year, but he's publicly asking the B1G to let him play 3 for 3. Does he have to sit out another year because he went to Nebraska, then to JC and back to the B1G? Such archaic rules the B1G has.
