3 games postponed in the NFL this weekend. NHL has moved a few as well. Nets played a game with 8 players the other night. All the leagues are getting hit hard. Not looking great right now.

seriously though is there some sort of new thinking of why they shouldn't be testing that isn't just fuck you we want our $?

i saw the clip of the red wings gm yzerman asking why are we testing healthy vaxed athletes that aren't showing symptoms? is there new research that says asymptomatic vaxed people don't spread it?

i'd imagine this is just we want our $ fuck your health and never ending pandemic, but wanted to make sure.

Well, Biden is about to make 500m new rapid tests available, so I don't think there's new guidelines that we shouldn't be testing.

I believe that CDC guidance is that vaxxed people who have been exposed, but have no symptoms, don't need to quarantine or stop any activities. So I'm guessing that they feel that it isn't very likely for them to get it and/or spread it, though I can't speak to the exact research.
