No one goes into that blind and anyone who needed to have teh establishment cover up to minimum wage was usually a shitty server anyway. Its not as if Duffy promised them $15/hr and then pulled the rug out from under them and told them after they were hired that it wasn't a guaranteed hourly rate and they would only make $2.15.

Most of my former employees went on to become successful professionals after college. Doctors, lawyers, a DEA agent, broadcast journalists, accountants, builders, automotive executives etc. I'd like to think they learned a solid work ethic by working in college. And many supplemented their tuition with the money they made.

Sorry if you think I cheated them. Funny in 25 years I don't remember one employee telling me their wage wasn't fair. Because they made money.
