They're talking about asking Lane Kiffin to come back on their board.
This couldn't be going more poorly for Tenn if they tried. Which retread coach will they try next? Maybe they can try to coax a 70-year old Frank Beemer out of retirement.

They're going to save the day and make lions fans happy too. They'll come to Detroit and take their old grad assistant Jim Bob Cooter and offer him the head coaching job. That will solve the incest they need as an ol Vol grad ass, that will solve the hot take deal for the people who think a hot shot coordinator from the NFL will be a great head coach, and it will please lions fans who are getting sick of him.
He's alos a Tenessee native, went to high school there, was a back up QB, and lets face it, has the name to be a coach there.

Oh, wait, wasn't he arrested too? Or didn't he have an issue with climbing into bed with a married woman?

DWags - you know I love you, but those last two posts have enough grammatical errors and spelling mishaps that I suspect that you, too, might be a native of Tennessee.

Well, it's hard being smart. I see I left the D our of bed, but maybe that's psychological.

little surprised his name hasn't been brought up more. I suspect two things:NigelUno wrote:I bet Les Miles is waiting by his phone.
a) he's made it known he's not interested in coaching, at least for a while..
or..
b) he's made it known that he's waiting on the UM job to open up..

It will be fun to see how this impacts PSU. Moorehead, Saquan and McSorley were the perfect storm to save Franklin. I assumed McSorley wasn't putting his 6 foot frame in the NFL Draft.... maybe he will now.

Posted this elsewhere. FSU has started to quietly start vetting candidates in case Jimbo leaves. Could be a bidding war for him, one of the Texas teams wants him. On top of this, I believe it came out today that the kicker for the team got the shit beat out of him last year by some frat boys.

so I get lost in the rumors, etc - what's the latest on Gundy going to UT?
also, it is a bit strange, as I mentioned yesterday, that the name "Les Miles" hasn't been brought up for any of these jobs.

This is like the DickRod/Fred Flinstone searches...but worse. Nobody wants to be the 9th option that UT had to settle for.

there's a prestigious scholarship to the University of North Carolina called the "Morehead Scholarship" - a buddy of mine in high school was a finalist for it.. in his interview with the committee he wanted to tell them how big of a fan he was of more head.tGreenWay wrote:DWags wrote:Mississippi State likes getting More head.

dude was an interesting guy.. he has a BS in mechanical engineering from Duke, a MS in Physics from Univ. of Florida.. and now is a game warden and basically lives off the grid. None of us - all of us who grew up together - have heard from him in years.tGreenWay wrote:Robert J Sakimano wrote: there's a prestigious scholarship to the University of North Carolina called the "Morehead Scholarship" - a buddy of mine in high school was a finalist for it.. in his interview with the committee he wanted to tell them how big of a fan he was of more head.

They may just bungle themselves into a good hire, though the Hilljacks will be livid that he's the best they could do. Poor Purdon't.

More recent tweets from Feldman and Forde are now saying it's less imminent than earlier reported by others and Knoxville radio.
So, there may be some talks going on, but nothing as yet for the evening news or a Tennessee press conference.

I started through the thread, and then got to the picture. While not risque at all, in a open office layout with the current environment I wasn't able to get through the thread.
