Major road repair projects on I96 between Holland and South Haven, I 96 in GR and sections of I96 between GR and Lansing too.

A lot of damn roads being fixed that swing voters drive daily.

I drove up and down 23 a few times earlier this month. Past times it felt like I was on a turbulent airplane this time it was smooth driving. Now just work on expanding that f'n road to three lanes and I'll be happy.

I think they're working on extending the flex lanes north of Ann Arbor. Problem with doing a dedicated third lane is not enough right of way. Buying additional right of way in that area would skyrocket the cost.

I was in stand still traffic just sitting there. There's gotta be an exit between Brighton and Ann Arbor where you can get off 23 and move quicker. Just looked at the maps and I'm seeing 5 Mile Road. Who knows it's probably just as log jammed with people looking for a short cut.

Since you don’t live here steve it might be easier to just plan your day around not being on that road at exactly 5 pm. It’s not that hard to do if you aren’t going to a job. Get to your event early and grab a beer or schedule it for a little later. Any number of options that are probably open to you.

I've been through there a couple of time this year. I don't understand the whole flex lane thing. It's a lane. Just keep it open. And get rid of the crash site testing zone.

Amen. Also, there's very short entrance ramps which is difficult for traffic to merge onto and causes slow ups. They gotta modernize that road.

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A Michigan man now faces jail time after allegedly sending threats directed at Governor Gretchen Whitmer, according to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.

Kevin Dawe, 31, of Clarkston is accused of sending threatening messages to the Governor in January in March using the state’s “Contact the Governor” webpage.

In the messages, Dawe told Governor Whitmer to “take care, and maybe shelter.” He told Whitmer “we have been watching and know your every step,” according to Nessel’s office.

“You f*** with everyday hard-working Americans, we F*** WITH YOU,” read one portion of the messages provided by Nessel’s office.

US23 going down to Toledo could be used as a shake test for vehicle prototypes - some of the holes might break your vehicle & the 18 wheelers drive in the left lane because the right lane is so bad.

It's a lane that doesn't meet federal requirements, hence the "temporary" designation.
