Didn’t dip for 4 days and my coworkers and customers like me better. I relapsed today, and I think better when I use nicotine products. But my life is better when I don’t. I feel like a dumbass when I’m sober.

It’s self-deprecating behavior and I hate myself for going back

Working full time going to school full time. Should I just say fuck it, drop my sales job and just go to school and look for an internship. I think sales on my resume is something most internship recruiters would find impressive because it gives off the impression that I don’t have aspergers and can communicate.

Might as well just look for internships instead of wasting my time in sales which I don’t want to do as a career. I will say this though, most of these college kids have no charisma. And practicing the art of persuasion full time has given me all kinds of charisma gains. I just got the digits of a receptionist on campus. I won’t pursue it though...she’s 18. Also she seemed a little slow. Maybe she was just shy, who knows. If you spend all your time in your head you’re probably going to be socially inept. Fucking self absorbed nancies. Unfortunately for them I’ve used it to my advantage.

All the office staff from our two old buildings moved into our new building three weeks ago. The build and machining shops are supposed to move in by the end of the year. Approximately 165,000 sq-ft of shop space and 25,000 office space. They held a ribbon cutting ceremony today with the SH mayor and a state rep. Was awkward and excruciatingly boring.

The new building is beautiful, but clearly not thought out. Our new foreign overlords will discover this within a year.

Got to work this morning and smelled natural gas outside. Called Consumers Energy. They came out but couldn't find a leak. Guy said it was probably from the Ford axle plant on Mound. Must be a helluva leak because that place is almost a half mile away.

Definitely not.

Our building is one of only three in the complex right now. There's pretty much nothing near it. Many acres under development (supposedly the biggest project in SH since Lakeside Mall back in the 70's). Thought maybe someone hit a gas line with an excavator.

I was thinking about myself in an It’s a Wonderful Life sort of way. If I didn’t exist what would my family be like?

As the family comedian I brought a lot of laughs to the family. Nobody in my family puts themselves in a position to be laughed at. But I do.

Sure they provide a couple of chuckles, but nothing hearty. They’d be plain and boring. Maybe my parents marriage wouldn’t have lasted?
