I’ve also learned to never run away from something you just set to blow up. Always walk away from it, preferably in slow motion, just as the fireball is erupting.

New Era has come out with a line of unstructured caps for MLB, NFL, and college. Maybe other sports, too, but I didn’t look. Anyhoo, it’s not a new type of hat; both Nike and 47 Brand sell the unstructured style. I actually like my 47 Brand Tigers hat, but have never really felt comfortable with my Nike Spartan head hat. I ordered both from New Era and they’re excellent. Only $25. It’s negligibly better than my Tigers hat, but the big difference is in my new MSU cap. Way better than Nike.
Just passing this along as an FYI, in case anyone is shopping for a new brim. New Era knows their stuff.

This is probably like when a shark attack or a bear attack happens the officials go out and shoot any shark or bear in the wild and tell the general public they got him. I remember seeing that on the news when there was a shark attack in Hawaii and the authorities later got the shark. It’s like really? The ocean is pretty fucking big how do they know they got the right one?

Also, just an observation what’s up with these weather reports that say 24 degrees feels like 12. Was out yesterday and some guy goes weather report says it’s 24 but it is supposed to feel like 10. I can confirm it felt like 10 and if you had told me it was really 24 I would have thought you were pulling a fast one.

Well since half the time the Nextflix & whatever post is blocked at work I'll post this here. Last night's episode of Watchmen was great. Tim Blake Nelson is the best thing on that show and an episode dedicated just to him is always going to be a winner.

We have video of us watching our youngest one pick up a chip on the beach full of sand and put it in her mouth. We’re on film in the background saying “oh man that’s gross” not doing a damn thing about it. That’s the funny part. If it was the first we’d have been over there rinsing her mouth going bonkers. By the second you just kind of hope they don’t choke. We’re not the best parents sometimes

We have to “ignore” some things because if we make a big deal about it, she keeps doing it. She stopped with the dog food/cat treats 6 months ago. Now started it up all of a sudden. You would think she would find it so gross that she would stop. Nope.

My haters will like this, last night after the ball game I moved my old couch out to the curb so that waste management could pick it up this morning. It was raining, it was dark and it was cold. At any rate they just called and said no one could come out to pick it up until Thursday so tonight I have to pull this snow covered couch into our garage.

Really wish there was a student body near by that would just take it off my hands and burn the damn thing.
