I almost gave up on Jones after two episodes. Glad I stuck with it. A whole new side to David Tennant after just watching Broadchurch. Still think Daredevil was better; D'Onofrio's performance was outstanding.

Killgrave's power is just so creepy and the actor does a great job playing his character. I also like Jones the character better than Daredevil. The hot, distraught, alcoholic superhero wrestling with her past beats the blind Catholic superhero wrestling with his religion and past. Both great shows.

Received an email from Netflix that Better Call Saul season 1 is now available.  Funny because just last week I checked, hoping that I could watch it again before season 2 starts on 2/15. At the time I checked it said DVD only.

Narcos is decent, through 4 eps.

Spent January running through Mad Men. Should have watched it when it was on TV but never did.

Just binge watched first 3 seasons of Bates Motel. Recommend it. Some strong performances from the actors playing Norma and Norman. The Sherriff is one of my favorite tropes in the guy who is always more of a badass than the next man up.

Pretty solid - 3.5 barns out of 5.

So, anybody thinking about quitting Netflix when the price hick kicks in?

I'm not but I still think they botched this thing when they tried raising prices a couple of years ago, even after they walked it back and grandfathered existing users for two more years. They should have grandfathered users for a year, raised prices by $1, then come back for another $1 a year or two later. It isn't about the extra $2 a month that I'll soon be paying, it's more like "you want to raise prices by 25%?"

Maybe no increase for you. Depends on when you signed up. Your price seems like you also may currently be paying for more than two screens and/or ultra HD.

Just started "The 100" recently. Acting isn't great and I think it's targeted at < 30 year olds, but the concept has a lot of potential. Basically, Earth had a nuclear war ~200 years ago and society continued in space when a bunch of space stations joined together to form a community. Air is running out faster than expected so they send 100 criminal kids down to Earth to see if it's habitable. I'm 5 episodes in and it has my attention at least. I dig it. It gets better as you go, too. Some attractive women in the show. Definitely a Hunger Games feel with the target audience, but it does the trick. 3rd season is currently airing so I have only seen the first two. Season 2 ending...

If wake and TN dig it, I'll probably give it a try. thanks, you guys. :)

Been watching Bosch on Amazon. It's pretty good, and says pretty true to the books.
