That’s impressive, Au. Keep us posted. I want to find out if it bears fruit.

Weird flex but okay.
Not intended to be a flex. Just tasted good and I don't have the ability to grow this shit in the winter. Hence my questions.

That's a great question. Balsamic vinaigrette and open to suggestions.

No blossoms yet is concerning and not sure how they would or will pollinate either

As much as I love blue cheese, I’m going with the balsamic vinaigrette more and more. It’s healthier and tastes good.

Yeah, they’re pretty big for not yet having blossoms. Not sure about pollination. Try this video out; it’s about hand pollinating indoor veggie plants:

Yeah, not sure what happened. I must have copied the video when a commercial was still on. I couldn’t find that vid again, but here’s another that shows manual ways to pollinate tomato plants. The video itself is poorly done. He doesn’t get to his five different tips until about five minutes in. The upside is it’s super easy for tomatoes.
The downside is you don’t have any blossoms to manually pollinate. I did a quick check and you need to find out what your plants might be lacking. Light, water, heat, or fertilizer. The plants arent getting enough energy to make the flowers:

So took a q tip to the flower, trimmed some dead stuff off both plants and added some of my tomato fertilizer to the water. We will see what happens

The fertilizer will give it a nice boost. Do you have more than one blossom?

Re: Bob how's your garden?
What do all yall think about these? Which one would you purchase?
Option 1
Option 2
Option 3
I guess my concern with the upright ones is how is that going to support like a tomato plant? Won’t it just fall over and break? It says you can have veggies, but it seems like it would be best with herbs and lettuce
Alternatively Motown what’s the one you have? Price comparable to these ones?

I have the Gardyn 3.0 and it was $800 when I bought it. They just rolled out the 4.0 which is why the price is lower. I can get you a coupon code for the 3.0 if you want.
Also, the Gardyn website has all sorts of accessories, which I have used some and improvised others. As a matter of fact, I’ll be supporting my tomato plants today with the trellis system and some plant ties.

Re: Bob how's your garden?
Yeah it’s gonna be 1 or 3, they’re about the same price. We can check off option 2
I guess it depends how I plan on using it. I’m kind of wondering if pollinating will get to be kind of a pain in the ass to do myself and I’ll end up with mostly lettuce and herbs anyway.

I have a small fan on a smart plug that comes on from 9-4 while no one is at home. I also have a large humidifier in the same room since our winters are so dry.

I think I’ve settled in on going with the 3.0. Reasoning comes down to I’ll leave the pollinators to summer growing outside and mostly do herbs and lettuces inside.
You got that coup code jefe?

Sent you a message. Apparently it’s a $50 gift card after purchase.
Also, you don’t need the membership unless you want a somewhat hands off experience. Like, I don’t need it to tell me when to do things when I’m checking things every other day or so.

I took tomorrow and Friday off to go golfing Bob. The rain is bullshit. Good thing I took Monday off too. Maybe that day.
I got the gardyn sitting in a giant box next to me. In lieu of golfing I’ll be setting it up tomorrow

Make sure the hoses aren't kinked going to the top of the towers. Also, don't add plant food until you get true leaves on most of the plants.
